Mouse Models

Site-specific recombinase (SSR) system is widely used in genetically modification, especially the generation for conditional KO and inducible KO mouse models. For making it more efficient and easier, mouse models with special functions have been generated, such as tissue-specifically expressing Cre, inducible expressing Cre, Split-Cre, floxed (target gene were flanked by loxP sites) mouse, et al.

For assisting our global customers making better breakthrough in their research areas, Creative Biogene offers various of mouse models based on site-specific recombinase systems.

  • Floxed Mouse: Floxed mouse models provide a way to study gene function in a controlled and tissue-specific manner, allowing researchers to investigate the roles of specific genes in development, physiology, and disease.
  • Reporter Mouse: Reporter mouse models generated with SSR technology offer a means to visualize and study gene expression patterns in a tissue-specific or cell-specific manner. They are invaluable tools in deciphering the intricacies of developmental processes and disease mechanisms.
  • Inducible Mouse: Inducible mouse models generated with SSR technology are genetically engineered mouse strains that allow for controlled and temporal regulation of gene expression in specific tissues or cell types.
  • Recombinase-expressing Mouse: Recombinase-expressing mouse models are genetically modified mouse models that express Cre recombinase tissue-specifically or temporal-specifically.

Our Mouse Models

B6;129-Igs1tm4(CAG-Bgeo, -Vangl2)Nat/J (Cat. No.: CEMM-07250391) Inquiry
This Ubb (ubiquitin B) knock-in strain gives consitutive expression of nuclear-localized beta-galactosidase/neomycin resistance protein reporter (NLS-beta-geo) in the absence of cre-mediated recombination. Following cre-mediated recombination, Vangl2 (vang-like 2 (van gogh, Drosophila)) protein with 3xHA (hemagglutinin) tag is expressed.

B6;129-Igs1tm5(CAG-Bgeo, -Mito-GFP)Nat/J (Cat. No.: CEMM-07250392) Inquiry
This Igs1 (intergenic site 1, formerly Ubb) knock-in strain gives constitutive expression of a nuclear localized beta-galactosidase/neomycin resistance protein reporter (NLS-beta-geo) in the absence of cre-mediated recombination. Following cre-mediated recombination, the NLS-beta-geo coding region is excised and GFP-V5 is specifically expressed in mitochondria.

B6;129-Igs1tm6(CAG-Bgeo, -Wnt5a)Nat/J (Cat. No.: CEMM-07250393) Inquiry
This Ubb (ubiquitin B) knock-in strain gives constitutive expression of a nuclear localized beta-galactosidase/neomycin resistance protein reporter (NLS-beta-geo) in the absence of cre-mediated recombination. Following cre-mediated recombination, the NLS-beta-geo coding region is excised and Wnt5a is expressed.

B6;129-Igs1tm7(CAG-Bgeo, -Wnt11)Nat/J (Cat. No.: CEMM-07250394) Inquiry
This Igs1 (intergenic site 1, formerly Ubb) knock-in strain gives constitutive expression of a nuclear localized beta-galactosidase/neomycin resistance protein reporter (NLS-beta-geo) in the absence of cre-mediated recombination. Following cre-mediated recombination, the NLS-beta-geo coding region is excised and Wnt11 is expressed.

B6;129-Igs1tm9(CAG-Bgeo, -Fzd3)Nat/J (Cat. No.: CEMM-07250515) Inquiry
This knock-in, 2 kb 5' of the Ubb (ubiquitin B) gene, gives constitutive expression of a nuclear-localized beta-galactosidase/neomycin resistance protein reporter (NLS-beta-geo) in the absence of cre-mediated recombination. Following cre-mediated recombination, the NLS-beta-geo coding region is excised and the downstream triple HA epitope (3HA) tagged Fzd3 (frizzled homolog 3 (Drosophila)) coding region is expressed.

B6;129-Igs1tm10(CAG-Bgeo, -Fzd6)Nat/J (Cat. No.: CEMM-07250518) Inquiry
This knock-in, 2 kb 5' of the Ubb (ubiquitin B) gene, gives constitutive expression of a nuclear-localized beta-galactosidase/neomycin resistance protein reporter (NLS-beta-geo) in the absence of cre-mediated recombination. Following cre-mediated recombination, the NLS-beta-geo coding region is excised and the downstream triple HA epitope (3HA) tagged Fzd6 (frizzled homolog 6 (Drosophila)) coding region is expressed.

B6.129P2(SJL)-Ntrk3tm1Ddg/J (Cat. No.: CEMM-07250472) Inquiry
These mice carry a hypomorphic floxed F617A mutation in mouse Ntrk3 (neurotrophic tyrosine kinase, receptor, type 3; also called TrkC). Signaling is effectively blocked by application of 1NMPP1. This strain is useful in studies of nerve growth and survival.

B6;129S6-Syt2tm2Sud/J (Cat. No.: CEMM-07250494) Inquiry
Exon 2 of the mouse Syt2 gene is flanked by loxP sites. Cre-mediated excision of the floxed region results in a knock-out allele. A Syt9 cDNA incorporated in the allele (intended to function as a conditional knock-in) has been found to be non-functional.
