Cell Lines
Stable Cre-expressing cell lines or Cre reporter cell lines are useful tools in biological research. Cre expressing cell lines constitutively express Cre recombinase with different fluorescent and antibiotic markers (including Puromycin, Neomycin or Blasticidin). Cre Reporter cell lines constitutively express a "loxP-GFP-STOP-loxP-RFP-STOP" cassette under strong promoter, which can be used to monitor or confirm the efficiency of Cre recombination in vivo.
