B6.129S1-Reltm1Ukl/J

Cat. No.: CEMM-07250537

Common Name: relfl/fl
These c-Relfl mutant mice possess loxP and FRT sites flanking exon 1 of the Rel gene. This strain may be useful for generating conditional mutations in applications related to the NF-kB signal transduction pathway. Cre-mediated recombination also results in expression of GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein) which can be used to trace Rel ablation.

Molecular Note
Sequence encoding a promoterless eGFP minigene, a loxP site and the PGKneo cassette was inserted upstream of exon 1 of the targeted gene, and another loxP site followed by the PGK promoter was inserted downstream of exon 1. The entire targeted region was flanked by FRT sites.
