C57BL/6J-Rab39bem6Lutzy/Mmjax

Cat. No.: CEMM-07250939

Rab39b cKO is a CRISPR/Cas9 generated mutant of the RAB39B, member RAS oncogene family gene with loxP sites flanking exon 2. Exposure to Cre recombinase deletes the floxed sequence and is expected to create a null allele. These mice may be useful in studying X-linked cognitive disability.

Molecular Note
CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing used guide RNAs upstream (GTATTTACTAAAGGACTGTC and CTAAAGGACTGTCAGGAATC) and downstream (ATGAGCCTTCTTCCTAGGCC and CCTGTCAGAGATCCAGGCCT) to target exon 2. Donor DNAs were Created to insert loxP sites flanking exon 2.

Breeding Considerations
Please note: this Rab39b is X-linked. Heterozygous females, hemizygous males and homozygous females are viable and fertile. When maintaining a live colony, homozygous females may be bred to hemizygous males.
