C57BL/6J-Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1(CAG-Saa1, -EGFP)Litt/J

Cat. No.: CEMM-07251031

Common Name: LoxP-STOP-loxP-SAA1; LSL-SAA1
LoxP-STOP-loxP-SAA1 (also called LSL-SAA1) knock-in mice carry a conditional mutant allele in which Saa1 (serum amyloid A 1) and IRES-EGFP are over-expressed from a CAG promoter upon cre recombinase-mediated excision of a loxP-flanked neomycin/Stop cassette. This strain has been useful in studies of Th17 cell responses, inflammation, and autoimmunity. The functionality of the EGFP reporter has not been assessed.
