B6;129-Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1(Ptbp1)Szhg/J
Cat. No.: CEMM-07250763
Common Name: Rosa26LSL-FL-Ptbp1
Rosa26LSL-FL-Ptbp1 mice contain a floxed STOP cassette followed by a FLAG-tagged polypyrimidine tract binding protein 1 (Ptbp1) cDNA and an IRES/mCherry cassette. This strain may be useful when studying neuronal pre-mRNA splicing.

Molecular Note |
A targeting vector was designed with a splice acceptor site followed by a loxP-flanked neomycin resistance cassette fused to a polyadenylation signal. This was followed by (from 5' to 3') an FRT site, a FLAG-tagged mouse cDNA, and an internal ribosome entry site (IRES) fused to a nuclear localization signal and an mCherry sequence, and a second FRT site.
