C57BL/6N-Zc3h14tm1c(KOMP)Wtsi/CrbtJ

Cat. No.: CEMM-07250832

Common Name: Zc3h14F
Zc3h14F/F floxed mice possess loxP sites flanking exon 13 of the zinc finger CCCH type containing 14 (Zc3h14) gene, making these mice useful for studying proper poly(A) tail length control, expression of synaptic proteins, and brain function.

Molecular Note
The L1L2_Bact_P cassette was inserted at position 98783160 of Chromosome 12 upstream of exon 13 (Build GRCm38). The cassette is composed of an FRT site followed by lacZ sequence and a loxP site. This first loxP site is followed by neomycin resistance gene under the control of the human beta-actin promoter, SV40 polyA, a second FRT site and a second loxP site. A third loxP site is inserted downstream of exon 13 at position 98783990. Exon 13 is thus flanked by loxP sites. This "conditional ready" (floxed) allele was Created by flp recombinase expression in mice carrying this allele.
