B6.129S6(129S4)-Pdyntm1.1Jdin/J
Cat. No.: CEMM-07251112
Common Name: pDynfl
pDynfl mice possess loxP sites flanking exon 4 of the pDyn gene. After cre-mediated recombination, these mice may be useful for studying depression, nociception, anxiety, schizophrenic disorders as well as Parkinson's disease and L-DOPA-induced dyskinesia.

Molecular Note |
The allele is Created using a BAC clone containing exon 4 genomic sequence of the gene. The targeting construct was inserted into intron 3 and includes a loxP site followed by an FRT flanked neomycin/kanamycin selection cassette and a second loxP site located downstream of exon 4. FLP-mediated recombination removed the neo/kan cassette.
