B6;129S4-Hmga2tm1.1Mmw/J

Cat. No.: CEMM-07250737

These Hmga2CK mice possess pairs of variant loxP sites on either side of exon 2 and a SA-GFP-SD cassette (in reverse orientation) in intron 2 of the Hmga2 gene. Cre-recombination puts GFP under the control of all of the endogenous regulatory elements of endogenous Hmga2 (while also creating a null allele). Applications may include growth, development, transcriptional regulation and cancer metastasis.

Molecular Note
An FRT flanked neomycin resistance cassette with 3' loxP2272 and loxP5171 site was inserted upstream of exon 2. An inverted EGFP expression cassette with 3' loxP2272 and loxP5171 sites was inserted downstream of exon 2 without affecting Mir763. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette.
