C57BL/6J-Tg(Kcnip2-cre/ERT2)NIDA099Htz/J

Cat. No.: CEMM-07250801

Common Name: Kcnip2-CreERT2
These transgenic BAC mice express tamoxifen-inducible cre-ERT2 from the mouse Kcnip2 promoter. Expression occurs in Kcnip2-expressing cells, including a subclass of inhibitory interneurons in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord.

Molecular Note
Expression of tamoxifen-inducible Cre-ERT2 is driven from the mouse Kcnip2 promoter contained on BAC RP23-146N4. This BAC encodes 5 additional genes: Fgf8, Npm3, Mgea5, Gm6813, and partial 9130011E15Rik. The modified BAC vector was introduced to C57BL/6J embryos.
