C57BL/6-Ppp3r1tm1Stl/J

Cat. No.: CEMM-07250055

Common Name: fCNB1
These floxed mutant mice possess loxP sites flanking exons 2-4 of the Ppp3r1 gene. This strain may be useful for generating conditional mutations in applications related to neural networks in learning and memory.

Molecular Note
Homologous recombination flanked the three major coding exons, exons 2-4, with a loxP site and a LFNT cassette. The LFNT cassette consisted of PGK-neomycin and HSV-thymidine kinase selection sequences flanked by a pair of loxP sites and a pair of FRT sites. Cre- or Flp-mediated recombination in ES cells removed the PGK-neomycin and HSV-thymidine kinase sequences prior to production of chimeras.
