C57BL/6N-Gt(ROSA)26Sortm13(CAG-MYC, -CD2*)Rsky/J

Cat. No.: CEMM-07250427

In these R26StopFLMYC mice, Cre recombinase-mediated excision of a floxed STOP cassette allows expression of a CAG promoter driven human MYC (avian)) cDNA and truncated signaling deficient human CD2 (CD2 molecule) from the Gt(ROSA)26Sor locus. These mice may be useful in general studies of the role of MYC, including of its function in germinal center development, B cell proliferation and immune response.

Molecular Note
A splice acceptor site, CAG promoter, floxed neo stop cassette human MYC cDNA, and an FRT flanked IRES sequence and human CD2 cDNA were knocked into intron 1 via homologous recombination. The human CD2 cDNA is a signaling-deficient truncated version.
