Cat. No.: CEMM-07251058
Common Name: Ip6k2flox
Ip6k2flox mice have loxP sites flanking exon 6 of the inositol hexaphosphate kinase 2 gene. Exposure to Cre recombinase removes the floxed sequence - creating a null allele. These Ip6k2flox mice may be useful in studying cancer and cerebellar development.

Breeding Considerations |
Both heterozygous and homozygous mice are viable and fertile with normal breeding, and no reported gross phenotypic or behavioral abnormalities. When maintaining a live colony, heterozygous mice may be bred together, to wildtype mice from the colony or to C57BL/6J inbred mice. Alternatively, homozygous mice may be bred together.
