As a Research Scientist / Project Manager at Creative Biogene, the candidate will be responsible for leading research projects related to site-specific recombinase systems while ensuring their successful execution within defined timelines and budgets. This role requires a strong scientific background, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage research projects focused on site-specific recombinase systems, from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to contribute to the development of biotechnological solutions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, technicians, and external partners, to achieve project objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement contingency plans to ensure project success.
- Communicate project progress, findings, and challenges to stakeholders, both internal and external, through written reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Collaborate with the business development team to provide scientific expertise and support in proposal development and client interactions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in site-specific recombinase technologies and relevant scientific literature, and apply new knowledge to project planning and execution.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, providing guidance and mentorship to junior scientists and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or Genetics.
- Experience (industry or academic) working with site-specific recombinase systems, such as Cre-loxP or FLP-FRT.
- Strong scientific background in molecular biology, genetics, or related disciplines, with a demonstrated understanding of recombinase technologies.
- Proven experience in independently designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and drawing meaningful conclusions.
- Project management experience, including managing complex research projects, coordinating teams, and meeting project milestones.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project-related challenges effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and requirements in the biotechnology industry is desirable.
