Cre (Ef1a Promoter, Neo), Concentrated Lentivirus

Cat. No.: CEVP-00450020 Product Size: 1 vial Inquiry
Product Overview
Description
Pre-made lentiviral particles expressing sequence verified CRE recombinase under an enhanced EF1a promoter which is a strong promoter independent of tissue or cell types, and less likely to be silenced in long-term culture conditions. CRE contains a NLS (nuclear localization signal) at its N-term. This nuclear permeant CRE increases the recombination events in vivo. A Neomycin marker under RSV promoter, allows to select transduced cells for long term expression via Neomycin (G418) antibiotic.

Protein Information
Cre protein, from bacteriophage P1, catalyzes recombination between 34 base pair target sequences, named lox sites. Cre lentiviral particles can catalyze the jointing event in Vivo in the presence of lox sites. Purified Cre enzyme can joint individual plasmids containing lox sites.
